The Women’s Ministry of Saint Andrew’s Chapel exists to help women grow in their spiritual relationship with and knowledge of God, to be strengthened as members of His church, and to gain a better understanding of their particular role in the family, church, and community. We believe the Scriptures speak directly to every area of a woman’s life, and we seek to open that Word together through regular study and prayer.

Bible Study and Prayer

Our regular gatherings center on the study of Scripture and prayer. We work through books of the Bible and topical studies with care and depth, seeking not merely to gather information but to grow in godliness. Meeting times and current studies are announced in the weekly bulletin and on the Events page. Nursery care is provided so that mothers of young children can attend.

Fellowship Among Women of the Congregation

We are committed to the biblical pattern of older women teaching and encouraging younger women (Titus 2:3–5), and we want women new to Saint Andrew’s and those who have worshipped here for years alike to find a place of genuine fellowship. Throughout the year we gather for occasions beyond our regular study — including retreats, meals, and other events — to build the bonds of Christian friendship. Please check the Events page to remain informed about upcoming gatherings.

Service to the Body

Women’s Ministry also helps coordinate works of mercy and hospitality within the congregation, such as meal support for new mothers and those who are ill, and care for the needs of the body as they arise. This service flows out of, and is not separate from, the spiritual growth we pursue together — love for Christ overflowing into love for His people.
